A young woman born in Paris of Romanian descent, Catherine Popesco has dual French and American nationality. As a teenager, she carried out research in Inca relics and developed a passion for Mexican art. It was a little later that she founded her first company in America to sell Mexican inspired jewelry.

Never one to rest on her laurels, this artist is always on the move and travels the world to sample different cultures, capturing the essence of these far off lands for her own creativity. She defines herself as a visionary, and apart from jewelry, her artisitic taste has taken her into many fields.
