Pade Vavra, a Los Angeles native, studied metal smithing at UCLA from 1994-1997. After graduating, she entered the prestigious Gemological Institute of America and earned a degree in Gemology and Jewelry Design. Her eponymous company was established in 2000.

"First and foremost, I consider myself an artist. Jewelry is an extension of my inherent need to create." As Pade herself explains, "Jewelry is a fantasy - it's very emotional. You should be transformed when you wear it. My clients have an amazing sense of style and recognize that timeless, precious jewels can have a creative edge."
