Lias Freede jewelry

Lisa was born in Detroit, Michigan. Her father was a builder and interior designer, her mother was a model and make up artist. They were young, very stylish, cool parents. Lisa was their first child.

From the time Lisa was very young she loved anything bright that sparkled!!! Lisa would carry colorful beads and stones in her pockets to school and come home with embellished pencils, erasers, and lunch boxes she had crafted with paste at her desk. Lisa always enjoyed dressing up for every occasion… even school. She loved to create and accessorize original outfits, often inspiring new trends.

While attending Wayne State University in Detroit Lisa worked for a popular men’s clothing store as a sales associate and buyer. Those experiences evolved into working in the wholesale market as a manufacturers representative for companies such as Faded Glory to Calvin Klein, she then moved to Los Angeles.

After developing successful business relationships with buyers and store owners Lisa began designing her own clothing and accessory lines. This proved to be a hit in such stores as Fred Segal, Kitson, Henri Bendel and Bloomingdales – as well as with stylists and celebrity clientele. She has been fortunate to work with them designing and coordinating clothing and accessories for television, films and music videos.

Lisa also taught fashion design and merchandising at the acclaimed Brooks College in Southern California. Lisa has always been several steps ahead of the fashion industry and always committed to her passion for style and her eye for design. Lisa has earned a reputation as a top designer and visionary in the apparel and accessory industry. Lisa’s newest collections are featured in top American, European, and Japanese publications.
